I see you, sitting on the branch outside my window.
We see eye to eye.
Your mouth resembles a smirk with evil glint in your eyes.
You jump to my room straightening your shoulders and hover over me.
You intimidate me with your presence and open your arms like every other day.
My blood runs cold, chills rise from my spine.
Your dirty, calloused hands engulf me.

But today my sobs aren’t of despair.
I’ll stab you once and for all.
For today, Fear,
I’ll not let you win.
